OUR CHARGES

“Direct Cremation”: which includes the local transfer of remains to the funeral home, staff services, which include securing of the necessary authorizations, basic local transportation to the crematory, an alternative container for cremation and the return of cremains from the crematory, to the funeral home, to the family $1,570

In addition: to the $1,570, there is the crematory’s fee, (avg. $450), and copies of the death certificate, (NY $10 ea., avg./PA $20 ea.). Urns are available, which are optional and, additional, as well as mailing charges, (via the US Postal Service), if applicable.

Please note: any type of obituary, service, or burial/inurnment would be the responsibility of the family to arrange.  

REGARDING THIRD PARTY MERCHANDISE

Simplicity Cremations will NOT accept or fill cremation urns/containers/jewelry, etc., purchased through a third party.
